Basilico Restaurant Italiano has a typical rustic Italian setting with a modern twist, matched by home cooking like you would expect to eat in Italy it is the key to the success of the our restaurant. Our aim is to provide great quality, authentic Italian food at sensible prices. We focus on the basics of the Italian Ingredients choosing, the best hard grained flour, tomatoes, olive oil and parmesan cheese from the southern regions of Italy elevating the flavour with some fresh basil and garlic ripened under the warm sunshine of the seaside fields. Basilico Restaurant Italiano is set in the heart of the thriving and bustling area of Macclesfield, Cheshire. We have a friendly service and a great buzzy atmosphere with tables spilling out onto the street. 

Since we have now fully opened and following all Covid-19 safety measures, we have since has been extremely popular with the eclectic local residents, business people and families. For the menu the greatest care is taken by our head chef in choosing the freshest ingredients according to season. We take pride in choosing genuine ingredients from Italy whenever possible, to create fresh, tasty and beautifully presented food as if we where in Italy. The home made intros, pizzas and pastas are a good choice for vegetarians.

Basilico Restaurant Italiano is an informal restaurant and no dress code is required. Booking a table is strongly recommended. Children are welcome, we have a dedicated children’s menu for them and our Saturday and Sunday lunch are a popular choice with families and a takeaway service is also available.
